OUR TRADITION
Giotti Ceramiche is a ceramics manifactory founded from Lionna Biagiotti and his son Piero in the 1905 just before the first world war. She has been working in the Store called “Lionna” for several years. In the 1966 a big flood has reduce the store in terrible conditions and they decided to move the bussiness not far, in the Lungarno Corsini.

Claudio
Claudio during his studies has always worked with his father in the store. Till he was a child he helped in the factory and now he is running the company with his sons Christian and Philip.

Sabine
She is working for a long time in the creative team and most of the designs has been created by her sensibility. Her studies at the university for design in Reutlingen Germany helped her to developed unique pieces of art.

Christian
He runs together with his father Claudio the store in the center town and of course HE is involved in the part of the production.

Maria Paola
Nothing can be done without her experience, the mother of Claudio is still joining the laboratory to give her opinion and help anyone that is involved in the painting process.

Philip, the youngest son of Claudio, works in the factory. He is managing the production making it possible to give shape to a piece of terracotta
Let customers speak for us
Four beautifully hand-painted coffee mugs ordered as a present for my wife. They arrived on schedule and very securely packed. Each one painted with a simply elegant symbol of Italian Terre. On the bottom of each mug was uniquely painted a special date for us. Now we start each morning with a beautiful cup of coffee, and thoughts of Italy and the wonderful time honored craftsmanship. What a gift!
After visiting Florence this past Spring. I regretted not purchasing any of the beautiful dinnerware. I was fortunate to find Giotti.
These dishes are absolutely beautiful. The photos on the website do not do it justice. I will be adding matching serving bowls and platters to this set in the near future

Lemons 🍋 on lemons collection is my favorite. I h ave the pitcher, salt and pepper and butter dish among others. They are beautiful. I am so happy with my pieces. Thank you.

As others have mentioned, the shipping was incredibly fast coming all the way from Italy! When I order things in the U.S. sometimes it takes over two weeks to get things! The spoon rest I ordered is absolutely beautiful and I plan to order the matching serving bowl when I come into my Christmas bonus. I have been wanting some authentic Italian pottery pieces for awhile now, as the work is absolutely exquisite. I would highly recommend any of these pieces!
